Cancellation and Refunds

This policy explains when you may cancel, change your wedding date, or receive a refund. It forms part of every My Cam Crew booking.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1. How to cancel or request a change

Email hi.mycamcrew@gmail.com or write to us in the WhatsApp conversation used for your booking. Include the booking name, wedding date, and whether you want to cancel or change the date.

Your request takes effect when we receive it. We will confirm the outcome in writing. If more than one customer is named in the booking, we may reasonably check that the person making the request is authorised to do so.

2. Initial refund window

You may cancel for a full refund within 7 calendar days after we confirm your booking, provided the wedding was at least 21 calendar days away on the date we sent that confirmation.

This is our booking policy and does not reduce any separate right you may have under Singapore law.

3. Cancellation after the initial window

  • After the initial refund window, the S$150 reservation payment is non-refundable because it reserves your date and our equipment and editing capacity.
  • If you cancel before the remaining balance becomes due, we will refund any payment above the S$150 reservation payment.
  • Once the remaining balance becomes due 14 calendar days before the wedding, all payments are non-refundable for a customer cancellation.

If you do not pay the remaining balance by the deadline, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you after giving reasonable written notice. The same refund rules will apply.

4. Changing the wedding date

You may request one date change if you give at least 30 calendar days’ notice. The new date must be within 12 months of the original wedding date and is subject to our equipment and editing availability.

We will transfer payments already made to the approved new date. If the package price or delivery requirements change, we will explain any difference and obtain your agreement before confirming the new date. Further date changes are treated as a cancellation and new booking unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Unavoidable events

An unavoidable event is something outside the reasonable control of you and My Cam Crew that prevents the wedding or service from going ahead, such as a serious emergency, official restriction, natural disaster, or widespread transport disruption.

We will first try to transfer the booking to a suitable date within 12 months. If we cannot offer a suitable date, we will give a full refund. We may ask for reasonable information showing that the event affected the wedding.

6. If My Cam Crew cannot fulfil the booking

If we cannot fulfil the confirmed booking, we will give a full refund of all payments for that booking. We will tell you as soon as reasonably possible.

The liability rules in our Terms and Conditions continue to apply. Nothing in this policy limits a right that cannot legally be limited under Singapore law.

7. Equipment faults and affected service

If a verified equipment fault results in no usable footage despite timely testing and correct use, we will give a full refund for the affected booking. If only part of the service is affected, we will offer a fair partial refund or credit proportionate to that part.

Testing, reporting, and fault rules are explained in the Rental Agreement.

8. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are sent to the customer’s nominated bank account or another method agreed with you in writing. We aim to process them within 10 business days after approval. Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to show the payment.
