Rental Agreement

This agreement explains how to receive, test, use, care for, and return a My Cam Crew camcorder kit. It forms part of every booking that includes equipment.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1. About this rental

This Rental Agreement is between BEV Studios (UEN 53429850L), trading as My Cam Crew, and the customer named in the booking confirmation. It applies to every confirmed package that includes a camcorder or other physical equipment.

All camcorders, batteries, memory cards, lights, chargers, cases, and accessories we supply remain our property. You receive only the right to use them for the confirmed wedding and rental period.

2. Rental period and responsibility

The rental period begins when you or your nominated recipient accepts delivery. You are responsible for the complete kit until it is handed back to us or to the return carrier we nominate.

You may let trusted guests, wedding-party members, vendors, or venue staff operate a camcorder, but you remain responsible for how they handle it and for returning every supplied item.

3. Check the kit within 24 hours

You must, within 24 hours after delivery, check each camcorder and the supplied accessories. Power each camcorder on, record a short test clip, play it back with sound, and check the kit for visible damage or missing items.

Tell us immediately at hi.mycamcrew@gmail.com or through the booking’s WhatsApp conversation if anything is missing, damaged, or not working. Prompt testing gives us the best chance to troubleshoot or arrange a replacement before the wedding.

4. Using the equipment safely

Everyone handling the kit must follow the instructions we provide.

  • Use the equipment only for the confirmed wedding in Singapore.
  • Keep it secure when it is not being used.
  • Keep it away from water, rain, sand, spills, excessive heat, open flames, heavy impact, and other conditions likely to cause damage.
  • Do not open, modify, reset, format, repair, or connect unapproved equipment unless we instruct you to do so.
  • Do not use the kit unlawfully, dangerously, invasively, or for a different commercial event without written approval.

5. Delivery and collection

We target delivery about one week before the wedding and will confirm the exact handover with you. After the wedding, we arrange a carrier to collect the kit.

Repack every supplied item securely in the original case or packaging and make it available for collection within seven calendar days after the wedding. Your responsibility ends when the complete kit is handed to us or our nominated carrier. We accept the risk of carrier transit after that handover.

6. Missed collection or late return

If your action or unavailability causes a failed collection or late handover, you must pay only the reasonable additional carrier or recovery costs we actually incur. Your responsibility for the kit continues until handover. Please contact us quickly if collection arrangements need to change.

7. Condition, loss, and damage

We do not take a security deposit, and normal wear from careful use, pre-existing damage, and faults you did not cause are not chargeable.

If you or someone you allow to handle the kit causes damage that can be repaired, you must pay the reasonable repair cost. If an item is lost, stolen, not returned, or damaged beyond economical repair, you must pay its reasonable current replacement cost. We will explain the charge and provide a repair quotation, invoice, receipt, or similar evidence.

8. If equipment is not working

Stop using equipment that appears unsafe or faulty, keep it in its current condition, and contact us immediately. We may guide you through simple checks or arrange a replacement where reasonably possible.

If a verified equipment fault results in no usable footage despite timely testing and correct use, we will give a full refund for the affected booking. If a verified fault affects only part of the service, we will offer a fair partial refund or credit proportionate to the affected part.

User error, ignored instructions, accidental damage, lighting, ambient sound, weather, venue restrictions, interference, or another person’s actions are not equipment faults.

9. Footage and editing

We aim to deliver all raw footage within 7 calendar days after receiving the returned camcorders. We aim to deliver the edited wedding film and two vertical reels within 2 to 3 weeks after receiving the returned camcorders. These are good-faith targets, and we will notify you of an exceptional delay.

One round of minor revisions may be requested in writing within 7 calendar days after delivery. Raw footage, project files, and final deliverables may be permanently deleted 90 calendar days after final delivery, so you must download and back up your files before then.

10. Recording permissions

You are responsible for following venue rules, informing guests that filming will take place, and obtaining any permission or consent reasonably required, including suitable consent involving children. You confirm that we may receive and edit the footage to provide the booked service.

11. Copyright and privacy

Copyright and personal-use rights are explained in our Terms and Conditions. Footage is private by default. We will not publish or use it in a portfolio, advertisement, website, or social-media post without separate written consent.

12. Liability and Singapore law

Subject to Singapore law, our total liability arising from an affected booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking. Nothing in this agreement excludes fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded. This agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore and should be read with our Terms and Conditions.
