Privacy Policy

This policy explains how My Cam Crew handles personal data under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

BEV Studios (UEN 53429850L), trading as My Cam Crew, is responsible for personal data handled through this website, enquiries, bookings, equipment rental, file delivery, and editing.

Our Data Protection Officer may be contacted at hi.mycamcrew@gmail.com. Use the subject line “Privacy request” so we can identify your message quickly.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Contact and identity details, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and the names of people involved in a booking.
  • Wedding, venue, delivery, collection, package, timing, and special request details.
  • Payment and transaction records, such as the payer, amount, date, invoice, and payment reference. We do not ask for online-banking passwords or one-time passwords.
  • Emails, WhatsApp messages, feedback, revision requests, support records, and other communications with us.
  • Wedding video, audio, photographs, and related files recorded on our equipment or supplied for editing. These may identify you, guests, vendors, and children.
  • Limited technical and security information produced when you use the website, such as server logs, device or browser information, and an IP address.

We usually receive data from you, your nominated contact, the people operating a camcorder, our delivery provider, or the footage itself. Please give us only information that is relevant to the service.

3. Why we collect and use personal data

  • Reply to enquiries and prepare quotations.
  • Confirm, administer, and take payment for bookings.
  • Deliver, support, trace, collect, and inspect equipment.
  • Receive, organise, edit, revise, and deliver wedding files.
  • Communicate about deadlines, changes, faults, refunds, and support.
  • Keep business, tax, payment, consent, and dispute records.
  • Protect our customers, equipment, website, and legal rights.
  • Meet requirements imposed by law or a lawful authority.

We collect, use, and disclose personal data only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances and that we have notified, consented to, or are otherwise permitted to handle under the PDPA.

4. Wedding footage is private by default

We use customer and guest footage to provide the booked service. Our editing is carried out in-house. We will not post, advertise, publish, sell, or add wedding footage to a public portfolio without separate written consent from the customer. That consent is optional and is not a condition of booking. Refusing it will not reduce the booked service.

You are responsible for following venue rules, telling guests that filming will take place, and obtaining any permission reasonably needed for recording and editing, including suitable consent involving children. Tell us promptly if someone raises a privacy concern.

5. Who we may share data with

We do not sell personal data. We may give only the data reasonably needed to providers that help us run the service, including:

  • banks, PayNow, and payment providers used to receive payments or send refunds;
  • carriers that deliver or collect equipment;
  • secure file-storage and file-transfer providers;
  • website hosting, email, messaging, invoicing, and accounting providers;
  • professional advisers, insurers, and dispute-resolution providers;
  • a genuine business buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganised and your rights continue to be protected; and
  • public authorities when disclosure is required or permitted by law.

These providers may use the data only for their agreed service or as the law permits. They do not receive permission to use private wedding footage for their own advertising.

6. How long we keep personal data

Raw footage, project files, and final deliverables may be permanently deleted 90 calendar days after final delivery. Download and back up all files before then. We may delete temporary transfer copies sooner once delivery is complete.

We keep booking, payment, consent, correspondence, equipment, and dispute records only as long as reasonably needed for the service, business records, legal obligations, or the protection of legal rights. When data is no longer needed, we delete it, securely dispose of it, or remove identifying details.

7. Security and overseas providers

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data, such as access controls, limited staff access, secure accounts, and careful file handling. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Some service providers may process or store data outside Singapore. If we transfer personal data overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives protection comparable to the standard required by the PDPA.

If a notifiable data breach occurs, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals where and when the PDPA requires us to do so.

8. Marketing, cookies, and analytics

We send promotional email, WhatsApp, or SMS messages only with the required consent or where otherwise permitted by Singapore law. You may opt out at any time using the instructions in the message or by emailing us. Service messages about an active enquiry or booking are not promotional messages.

The website may use technology necessary to operate and protect it. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are currently disabled and do not load, even if configuration IDs are present. We will not enable optional analytics or advertising trackers until the site provides an appropriate consent control and we update this policy where needed.

9. Access, correction, withdrawal, and complaints

You may ask to access personal data we hold about you, learn how it was used or disclosed, or correct inaccurate or incomplete data. You may also withdraw consent by giving reasonable notice. Depending on the request, we may need to verify your identity, charge a reasonable fee permitted by law, or explain if an exception applies.

Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier permitted processing and may prevent us from continuing a booking or editing service. We will explain the likely effect before completing the withdrawal.

Send requests or complaints to hi.mycamcrew@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge a privacy complaint promptly, investigate it fairly, and explain our response. This policy may be updated when our service or legal obligations change. We will publish the latest version and date here and, where appropriate, notify active customers directly about a material change.

Questions, notices, and privacy requests can be sent to hi.mycamcrew@gmail.com.
